Using the service

Tiny Desk AI is an AI creative short-video tool. You upload a photo of yourself or a consenting adult, and the system composites the person into a preset performance scene to create a personalized performance video. Results support private playback and download. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use it.

The current public sample is a 15.03-second AI identity-transfer result from an original study-room performance with fictional adults and newly generated music and lyrics. The template singing and accompaniment are retained. Your photo changes the lead appearance, not the template voice. Facial and background motion can vary. Generation may take around 10 minutes or longer; actual duration and output can vary.

AI models and service dependencies

The current two-step generation workflow uses Nano Banana 2 (fal-ai/nano-banana-2/edit) to edit the performance frame, followed by Kling 2.6 Standard Motion Control (fal-ai/kling-video/v2.6/standard/motion-control) to generate motion. Both models are accessed through fal.ai. Availability and results depend on those providers. Tiny Desk AI is independently operated and does not claim endorsement by the model providers, NPR or the performers.

Your content and consent

Only upload photos of yourself or of adults who have given you permission. Do not upload photos of minors, celebrities or public figures, and do not use the service to harass, impersonate or deceive anyone. We may remove content and close accounts that break these rules.

Content standards and prohibited uses

These rules apply to uploaded photographs, generation requests, outputs and any later sharing. Do not submit or generate:

Sexual or NSFW content: nudity, sexual acts, sexual exploitation or non-consensual intimate images, including synthetic content.

Violence and harm: graphic injuries, gore, torture, threats, encouragement of self-harm, or instructions facilitating serious harm.

Hate and harassment: hateful or discriminatory abuse, dehumanization, targeted harassment or extremist propaganda.

Child endangerment: any sexualized depiction or exploitation of a minor, including AI-generated material. Photos of minors are not accepted by this product.

Deceptive deepfakes and impersonation: using a person without permission, impersonating a celebrity or public figure, fabricating an endorsement or evidence, or presenting a synthetic performance as genuine footage. The authorized entertainment workflow must remain clearly identified as AI-generated.

Copyright and trademark infringement: photographs, music, videos, characters, logos or other protected material that you have no right to use. Do not claim affiliation or endorsement by NPR, an artist or a model provider.

Do not evade consent checks, safety controls, access restrictions or account enforcement. We may reject a request, restrict an account or remove content when these rules are violated.

Generated videos and third-party rights

AI output can contain mistakes; review a video before sharing it. Keep its AI disclosure, identify it as AI-generated when sharing and never present it as genuine footage of an event. Personal or social sharing remains subject to the rights of the people and materials shown.

The current public sample uses fictional AI characters, an original setting and newly generated vocals, accompaniment and original lyrics. No NPR performance footage or commercial song recording is included in this sample. Only upload photographs you own or have permission to use. Buying credits does not grant rights to third-party uploads or materials. Historical internal tests are not the current commercial template. Obtain the necessary rights for your intended use.

Reports and removal

Anyone can report content through our report page. We review reports and remove content that breaks these terms or someone’s rights within 48 hours. Removed photos are blocked from being uploaded again, and accounts involved in serious or repeated violations may be closed without a refund of used credits.

Credits and payments

Credit packs are one-time purchases, with no automatic recharge or renewal. Waffo Pancake processes real payments and its checkout terms apply. Prices are in USD; any applicable tax is displayed at checkout. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and pack credits do not expire while the service is operating. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available but provide it as is. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before a claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
